FGN Week 4 wrap: North Hall keeps streak alive; West Hall wins Battle of Oakwood

By AccessWDUN Staff | Video by Seth Chapman

Big-time matchups produced excellent games Friday night in Northeast Georgia.

Most notably, Jefferson got the better of Stephens County in a battle of top teams in their classifications, 45-28, while Cherokee Bluff came from behind to knock off Habersham Central, 31-24. North Hall kept their winning streak alive over East Hall with a 35-16 win, while West Hall won the Battle of Oakwood in a 73-0 rout of Johnson.

Lumpkin County had to hold on in the second half to take down Dunwoody in their final tune-up before Region 6-3A begins, while Dawson County got their first win of the season in their final non-region game over Banks County.

Buford looked like Buford in a 52-17 win over Roswell, and Commerce got back to .500 with a 28-12 win over Madison County.
