LULA - State troopers say a Carnesville woman, Joyce Anglin, 71, was the victim of a multi-vehicle accident on Georgia Highway 365 near Lula Tuesday morning.
Two other people were injured, one of them critically, in the accident that happened in the northbound lanes of 365 just south of Athens Street about 8:30 a.m. Troopers have not released the names of the injured, nor have they released details of the accident.
All northbound lanes of the highway were closed until just after 10:00 a.m.
Less than a half hour after the fatal accident occurred in the northbound lanes, all southbound lanes were blocked because of another wreck just north of Athens Street.
