Two other people were injured, one of them critically, in the accident that happened in the northbound lanes of 365 just south of Athens Street about 8:30 a.m. Troopers have not released the names of the injured, nor have they released details of the accident.
All northbound lanes of the highway were closed until just after 10:00 a.m.
Less than a half hour after the fatal accident occurred in the northbound lanes, all southbound lanes were blocked because of another wreck just north of Athens Street.
