Three people are displaced from a residential house fire in Hall County early Thursday morning.

A release from Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) spokesperson Kimberlie Ledsinger said their units responded to the 6200 block of Saddlehorse Drive at around 7:30 a.m. following reports of a residential fire. First crews arriving discovered a two-story residence on a basement foundation with fire coming from the second floor above the garage.  Ledsinger added that units operated an offensive strategy to quickly extinguish the fire.

A primary and secondary search of the residence were completed and HCFR officials deemd the scene all clear. Crews reported that one resident was home at the time of the fire, but was able to escape prior to their arrival.

Damage to the home has forced the temporary displacement of three occupants of the structure, while the American Red Cross was utilized to assist the occupants. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
