Coors visits Gainesville for National Day of Prayer

By By Jerry Gunn
GAINESVILLE - Adolph Coors IV was the featured speaker at Gainesville's first annual National Day of Prayer Breakfast Thursday.

The former brewing company executive said spiritualism is increasing in America, but not not enough.

Coors, brewery executive turned faith speaker, told his audience in Gainesville that anger is one letter short of danger.

Coors said as a teenager anger consumed him after his father was murdered by an escaped convict.

He said years later he was able to forgive his father's killer and visited him in prison.

Coors said that pursuit of money and success once ruled his life.

Hatred for the man who murdered his father once ruled his life.

Coors repeatedly asked Who is your God?

He said things did not get better for him until God was his God.
