Missing 11-year-old reported out of Duluth

A missing girl is being reported out of Duluth.

The Gwinnett County Police Department (GCPD) is requesting the public’s help in finding missing 11-year-old Samantha Mendoza Castellano.

She was reported missing by family at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Castellano was last seen leaving her home in the 3000 block of Satellite Boulevard within the Summit Station apartment complex between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Castellano is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 4-feet, 7-inches tall and weighing roughly 100-pounds.

She has dark brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with “Los Angeles” and a picture of Ice Cube on it and black baggy bell-bottom jeans.

Detectives are seeking tips on her whereabouts. Anyone with information should contact GCPD at (770) 513-5300 or Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta at (404) 577-8477.
