Georgia Public Service Commission Democratic Primary runoff election taking place today

The election for the Georgia Public Service Commission Democratic Primary runoff takes place today, led by current state representative Keisha Waites and ‘green energy’ advocate Peter Hubbard fighting for the District 3 seat in Atlanta. 

Polls opened at 7 a.m. today and will close at 7 p.m.

Early voting turnout has been extremely low, at just 0.4% of eligible voters, with 32,717 votes cast statewide. For comparison, total turnout for the June 17 primary was 2.8%.
