The Hall County Sheriff’s Office has asked the public for help locating Elizabeth Renee Smith, 38, of Gillsville, who has not been contacted since July 6.
The sheriff’s office said Smith’s friend reported her missing on July 13.
“Investigators are aware of claims on social media that Elizabeth has been located. Until law enforcement makes contact with her, she is still classified as a missing person,” HCSO officials said.
