Gainesville police recently arrested the suspect of an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday, Sept. 14.
Lt. Kevin Holbrook with the Gainesville Police Department said they arrested Kanye Ry'Quan Hopkins, 19 during a traffic stop on Sunday, Sept. 15.
The victim of the robbery told officials a suspect in an older Toyota Camry approached him, pulled a gun and demanded his Nike shoes.
Hopkins was charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault with a firearm.
He is being held in the Hall County Jail with no bond.
