Dramatic finishes and what some might call upsets ruled the night as Week 2 came to a close Friday.
Buford used late-game dramatics to knock off Benedictine, 29-28, while North Hall fell on a game-winning field goal at Wesleyan, 24-21.
East Jackson took down Commerce for their first win over the Tigers all-time, 14-13, while Fannin County ran past Rabun County, 28-7. Flowery Branch also got into the win column with a 23-13 win over Habersham Central.
In other action Friday night, Jefferson blew out Jackson County, East Forsyth improved to 2-0 with a big win over Dawson County, East Hall also stayed undefeated with a big win over Oglethorpe County, and West Hall got into the win column for the first time this season with a 52-14 win over Northview.
