Gwinnett County Authorities identify 3 people killed in Peachtree Corners wreck

UPDATE:

The Gwinnett County Accident Investigation Unit has determined that two vehicles were involved with the Sunday afternoon crash in Peachtree Corners that killed three people. 
 
The driver of a dark blue BMW, Armas Harding, 46, of Brookhaven, was traveling Eastbound on Elmside Village Lane and attempted to make a left onto Peachtree Corners Circle northbound. The BMW entered the intersection and was struck by the driver’s side of a yellow Chevrolet Camaro that was traveling southbound on Peachtree Corners Circle in the right lane. 
 
Harding and his passenger, Laura Rueda, 46 of Brookhaven, died at the scene. 
 
The driver and the front seat passenger of the Camaro sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital. The back seat passengers, both children, were transported to Scottish Rite with serious injuries. One of the children, Aura Camarono, age 5, died at the hospital. 
 
Both Vehicles were impounded to the Gwinnett County Police Headquarters for further investigation. 
 
The cause of the collision is still under investigation. 

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle accident that claimed the lives of three people in Peachtree Corners Sunday afternoon. 

A  press release from Gwinnett County Police late Sunday night says that just before 4:00 p.m., officers responded to an auto accident with a person trapped in a vehicle at Peachtree Corners Circle and Elmside Village Lane.

Investigators arrived to find the three victims deceased, with three additional people needing transport to local hospitals with injuries, one of which was listed as critical.

Descriptions of the vehicle involved, the cause for the fatal wreck and the identities of the victims involved have not been released, as Gwinnett officials have yet to contact the next of kin for the victims involved.
