Two teenagers have been arrested after an alleged armed robbery that led to a shooting in southern Gwinnett County last week.
Gwinnett County Police issued a statement Friday saying officers were called to a person shot in the Canopy Glen neighborhood on Pirkle Road near Norcross on Friday, July 18. When they got there, they found a man with a gunshot wound in his back.
"The preliminary investigation indicated that both parties met at the location for the purpose of a firearm sale," police said.
Investigators ultimately identified Andre Glover, age 17 of Stone Mountain, and a 15-year-old juvenile as the suspects in the shooting. Both were arrested on Thursday, July 24.
The two teens are facing charges with aggravated assault and armed robbery. Authorities added that search warrants also seized several firearms and narcotics.
