The Gwinnett County Communications Department has recently received the 2025 Award of Excellence for the Gwinnett Transit Plan Social Media Multiplatform campaign by the National Association of County Information Officers.
“This award reflects our Communications team’s creativity, strategy and commitment to keeping residents informed in meaningful ways,” said Gwinnett County Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson. “From transit planning to public engagement, their work continues to help us build trust and transparency in government. I’m incredibly proud of the team for being recognized on a national stage.”
The Communications Department was also awarded two additional 2025 NACIO Awards.
The first award was for its Electronic Communications newsletter and the other award for the Gwinnett Transit Plan video series, Ryan the Transit Guy.
