Gwinnett County Police Department (GCPD) has made an arrest from teh Friday, October 11 murder case from a gas station parking lot in Norcross.
A press release from GCPD says they have arrested 31-year old Donte Dieal Newcomb-Donnelly behind the shooting death of 41-year old Anthony Bernard Miles. Newcomb-Donnelly has been charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault ad possession of a firearm during commission of certain crimes behind their investigation into Miles' death. Newcomb-Donnelly is being held without bond in the Gwinnett County Jail, as of this morning. No further details have been released.

The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a Friday morning murder after a man was reportedly shot at a gas station on Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Norcross.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered a man with at least one gunshot wound in the front parking lot of the business. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
A preliminary investigation revealed the victim was approached by a man in the parking lot prior to the shooting. The suspect reportedly fled the scene before officers arrived. As of the last report, investigators do not have a motive for the incident.
The identity of the victim is being withheld until the next of kin can be notified. Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact GCPD detectives at 770.513.5300.
