Housing Resource Expo to be held in Gwinnett County

Gwinnett Housing Corporation (GHC) and Lawrenceville Housing Authority (LHA) are hosting a Housing Resource Expo at the Central Gwinnett High School of the Arts.

The Expo will host over twenty housing agencies which will be providing information and resources on emergency housing, home ownership, rental and home improvement opportunities.

A release from Gwinnett House Corporation notes that Gwinnett/Walton Habitat for Humanity will be sharing resources around the affordable homeownership program, A Brush With Kindness home repair program, and Water Resources Assistant Program for plumbing repairs.

A list of some of the organizations that will be offering assistance include:  

Catholic Charities, Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Habitat Gwinnett, Rudhill Companies, Georgia Center for Opportunity, Gwinnett Housing Corporation Homeowner Resource Center, Family Promise, Positive Impact/Safe Place, Gwinnett County One Stop4Help, Partnership Against Domestic Violence, Money Management International, Partnership for Community Action, PureOne Realty, Solar Energy Loan Fund, Solarize Gwinnett, Project Community Connections, SPARC, Georgia Drawdown, Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries, NACA, Gwinnett County Planning and Development Department, Gwinnett County Housing Division,  City of Lawrenceville Code Enforcement and Friends of Gwinnett Senior Services.

The Housing Resource Expo will run between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15.
