A man from Ball Ground died following a head-on collision Wednesday on Browns Bridge Road near Cresswind Parkway.
According to a report from the Gainesville Police Department, Michael McAdams, 51, died from injuries sustained in the crash. McAdams was traveling westbound on Browns Bridge Road around 5:30 p.m. when his Toyota Tacoma crossed the centerline.
McAdams's vehicle struck an oncoming landscape truck head-on. Lieutenant Kevin Holbrook with the Gainesville Police Department said it is unclear why McAdams crossed the centerline.
McAdams was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center where he died from his injuries. The driver of the landscape truck was also transported for minor injuries.
