ATLANTA — Johnson snapped a two-game losing streak with a big offensive showing in a 56-0 win over Cross Keys Friday night.
"I'm just proud of the way that our team started fast, and the way that our that our JV guys played in the second half," Johnson coach Stan Luttrell said. "It's a good team win." The Knights (2-2) ran out to a 28-0 lead after the first quarter and extended the lead 49-0 by halftime.

The Knights had four running backs find pay dirt with Dayshun Summerour scoring twice -- a 30-yard run and a 2-yard run.
Nolan Bullock and Justin Long also danced in for a touchdown.
Johnson will take the week off after playing five straight to open the season. They'll use the off week to prepare for Class 5A No. 1-ranked and region foe, Buford, on Oct. 4.
"I think that we have come a long way," Luttrell said. "Our region is tough, but I feel I like if we can continue to improve and stay healthy, we could be battling for a playoff spot at the end of the season."
