The USA South Athletic Conference has released its weekly Athlete of the Week honor roll with Rowan Bumpass earning women's lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the second straight week.
Bumpass earned the honor after a perfect 2-0 week for the Lady Lions that saw the freshman from Keller, Texas score five goals in action at home. Bumpass scored three times against Birmingham-Southern and twice more against Otterbein on Sunday.
The USA South Athletic Conference announces its weekly honor roll each Monday and at least half of the teams in a sport must have competed within the previous week for honors to be awarded.
