COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. — The Georgia men’s golf team stands sixth after two rounds of the Franklin American Mortgage Company Intercollegiate at the Grove.
On Monday at The Grove Club, the Bulldogs fired a 5-over 293 to move to 12-over 588 for the tournament. Ole Miss has the team lead at 2-over 578, followed by Charleston (580), Cincinnati (583) and host Middle Tennessee State (586).
Freshman Spencer Ralston paced the Bulldogs on Monday with a 1-under 71. Sophomore Tye Waller signed for an even-par 72, followed by senior Greyson Sigg at 2-over 74 and senior Jaime Lopez Rivarola at 4-over 76. Sophomore David Mackey had the Bulldogs’ non-counting score of 5-over 77.
Ralston improved to seventh individually at even-par 144, four shots in back of Ole Miss’ Braden Thornberry. Sigg is 11th at 1-over 145, while Waller is 18th at 3-over 147. Lopez Rivarola moved to 8-over 152, followed by Mackey at 10-over 154.
Playing as an individual, junior Zach Healy carded a 3-over 75 Monday and is 18th at 3-over 147.
