GLENVIEW, Ill. — Spencer Ralston will have his work cut out for him on Friday as he attempts to make the cut at the NV5 Invitational at The Glen Club.
The Gainesville native fired a 1-under par 70 on Thursday’s opening round but that was only good enough for a tie for 127th. Thirty-one-year-old Ryan McCormick of West Long Branch (NJ) shot a blistering 11-par 60 that included seven birdies and one eagle in a bogey-free round.
Ralston will tee off at 8:58 a.m. to begin his second round on Friday.
The cut line has yet to be established.
