WOODSTOCK — Spencer Ralston advanced to the 32-player match play portion of the Georgia State Amateur Golf Championship Wednesday at the Capital City Club-Crabapple Course.
The former Gainesville High standout fired a two-day total 2-under par 138 to finish seventh overall in the 144-player field.
The match play is slated to begin on Friday at the Capital City Club-Brookhaven course.
Ralston, a University of Georgia signee, advanced by shooting a 5-under 65 on Tuesday followed by a 3-over par 73 on Wednesday.
