The Hall County Tax Commissioner's Office has launched a new website, an effort officials hope will allow residents to find the most up-to-date information on property taxes, tag renewals and delinquent tax payments.
The new site features the ability to search for property tax statements, a "tax estimator" tool and information on interest and penalties, among other features, according to a news release from Hall County.
"More and more people are turning to technology to conduct their daily business, and we want our office to best serve those individuals as technology advances," Hall County Tax Commissioner Darla Eden said.
"We're happy to provide this new resource in conjunction with the mailing of 2016 property tax statements earlier this month."
Users can also cancel car tags online, something Eden said is a first for any county.
