There's been an update in the bullet found at a West Hall High School bathroom on Thursday.

According to the Hall County School District, the issue has been resolved.

Their investigation revealed that a student drove a family member's vehicle to the school and discovered a bullet inside the vehicle.

A classmate who rode to school with the student brought the bullet into the building, but thought better of it afterwards and disposed of it in the restroom.

"At no point was there ever any firearm on campus, nor was the bullet related to any sort of threat to the school or any individual," the district said in a statement to parents on Friday.
