ATLANTA - The idea is being floated again for video lottery machines in Georgia.<br />

The idea has come up unsuccessfully before, but now with the lottery running short of funding for HOPE and pre-k, it's coming up again. <br />
<br />
Dave Garrett is a real estate developer and has been involved in the lottery on and off from the beginning.<br />
<br />
"It's time I think to look at other things," Garrett tells the Georgia News Network, "and video lottery is just one of what I hope will be more than one strategy that might be employed."<br />
<br />
Garrett says he thinks the lottery board can bring in video lottery without the involvement of the general assembly. Governor Deal has shown opposition to the idea however<br />
