GAINESVILLE - A Lula man remains hospitalized following a New Year's Eve shooting that was apparently an accident.<br>

Michael Holland was hit with a bullet fired from a rifle outside a house on County Line Road in the Lula area.<br>

No charges had been filed at last check.<br>

A spokeswoman for the Northeast Georgia Medical Center said this morning Holland was in serious condition.<br>
