Meetings set on updating Hall parks plan

GAINESVILLE - Hall County Parks & Leisure Services is looking for your input as it prepares to update its master plan.

The agency has scheduled five meetings between now and August 3 at which you can offer your suggestions.

Parks & Leisure Services Director Deborah Mockus says the plan, when completed, will be the tool to guide the future development of parks, services, and facilities in Hall County.

The meetings will be held Tuesday, July 13, East Hall High School; Thursday, July 15, West Hall High School; Monday, July 19, Flowery Branch High School; Tuesday, July 20, North Hall High School; and, Monday, August 2, Chestatee High School. All are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m.

There is a parks & leisure survey - which is being offered as part of this effort - on the county's Web site, www.hallcounty.org.
