Early voting begins Monday

UNDATED - This year's Georgia primary elections are a week from Tuesday but you can begin voting Monday.

Georgia's relatively new concept of early voting will allow voters to cast their ballots at their local elections offices beginning Monday and continuing through Friday.

In Gainesville, that office is located at Pearl Nix Parkway and Dawsonville Highway.

There will be three ballots to choose from: Non-Partisan, Democratic, and Republican.

Hall County Director of Elections Anne Phillips says absentee voting, which began several weeks ago, will continue through Monday July 19 - the day before the elections.
