OAKWOOD - Nearly 100 of the president's supporters showed up in Oakwood Thursday night for one of thousands such gatherings around the country.
The Party for the President was held at Curt's Cafeteria.
The two-hour event was one of more than 6,000 Parties for the President which were held nationwide.
A number of current office-holders and candidates in this year's elections were present to sing the praises of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney and take verbal potshots at this year's presumed Democratic presidential ticket of John Kerry and John Edwards.
