Oakwood project rescheduled for planners consideration

OAKWOOD - A 607-acre mixed-use development planned near Oakwood won't be going before Gaineville planners next month after all.

A revised Gainesville Planning & Appeals Board agenda for July 13th said that consideration of annexation and rezoning requests from R-E-L Properties has been rescheduled for August 10th.

The property is along Mundy Mill Road in the Meeks Road/Mountain View Road area - and the project is scheduled to include a large residential component.
