A Tuesday afternoon wreck in White County led to a fatality.
According to White County officials, they received reports of a three-vehicle accident at around 1 p.m. on U.S. 129 near Albert Reid Road.
Initial reports indicated multiple people involved had injuries.
First responders provided care to multiple patients, and three were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Gainesville. One succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased was released to the White County Coroner’s Office. Georgia State Patrol (GSP) is investigating the crash, and U.S. 129 was closed until around 3 p.m.
