More details are released behind the fatal, multiple vehicle wreck in White County from Tuesday afternoon.
The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) has identified the drivers and passengers involved the three vehicle collision on U.S. 129 near Albert Reid Road at around 1:00 p.m. Upon arrival to the scene, the GSP trooper found a 2017 Kia Forte travelling southbound, driven by 41-year old Julia Robinson of Gainesville and carrying passenger Brian Wallace, 51 of Clermont entered the northbound traffic lane. Several area emergency units between GSP, White County Emergency Services, White County's Sheriff's Department and city of Cleveland Fire Departments were dispatched to assist at the crash scene. The GSP report adds that despite extensive live-saving efforts, passenger Brian Wallace was pronounced dead on scene. Robinson, Zavala and Frye were each transported by White County EMS to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.
U.S. 129 by Albert Reid Road was shut down for the continued investigation and cleanup effort until approximately 4:00 p.m. The GSP says that charges are pending at this time.
