A section of Ahaluna Drive for road improvements beginning Tuesday, Jul. 22, and reopening on Friday, Aug. 1.
City of Gainesville officials said Ahaluna Drive will be closed to traffic daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
During the closure, detour signs will be posted to guide drivers around the affected area.
Local access will be available, but drivers are urged to exercise caution, follow posted detours and remain alert for construction workers and heavy equipment operating in the area.
