The search for a missing Clarkesville woman last previously seen in Gainesville this week ends on a positive note.
Hall County Sheriff's Office has reported in social media late Wednesday night that 68-year old Melody Cherral Butler was located earlier in the evening and found safe. Officials thanked the public for its aid in finding Ms. Butler.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office has asked the public for help locating Melody Cherral Butler, 68, of Clarkesville, who was last seen around noon on Tuesday.
HCSO said Butler’s last known location was the Duckett Mill Park Campground at 3720 Duckett Mill Road in Gainesville.
Butler is a white female with blue eyes and gray hair. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and 140 pounds. Her ID photo shows her with blonde hair, but her hair is now gray.
She was last seen wearing a pink shirt with the Great Smoky Mtns and a bear on the front, black shorts and light blue tennis shoes.
Butler was camping with family when she left the campsite and did not inform anyone.
Butler does not drive, and she does not have a phone.
