Hall County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have confirmed the identity of a man whose body was discovered in the roadway on McConnell Drive near Mountaincrest Drive in Gainesville earlier in the month.
The department said Andres Mateo Hernandez, 31, of Gainesville, was pronounced dead at the scene after his body was found on June 1. His next of kin was notified of his death.
At this time, the cause of Hernandez’s death is unknown as investigators await an autopsy.
