The Gainesville Police Department is investigating a decomposed body found on Tuesday in a tent at a homeless camp off of Dawsonville Highway.
Police were called shortly after noon to a wooded area behind a shopping center after the body was found.
An identity is not available at this time due to the level of decomposition. An autopsy will be conducted to identify the deceased.
