Captain Robby Burke with White County Fire Services has officially earned his Georgia Fire Chief Certification, awarded by the Georgia Fire Chiefs Association.
White County said Burke, who leads C Shift, began the certification process in 2021.
To earn this certification, Burke completed programs, including Fire Officer I, II, III, and IV, and also achieved his Georgia Certified Emergency Manager (GACEM) designation.
“This accomplishment represents a significant investment of time and dedication, and we commend Captain Burke for his perseverance and leadership,” White County Public Safety Director David Murphy said. “White County Fire Services is committed to encouraging the professional growth of our personnel, and Captain Burke’s achievement is a strong example of that commitment in action.”
The process also involved numerous additional courses emphasizing fire administration and strategic planning.
