No one was injured in a house fire on the 2600 block of Old Cornelia Highway Friday morning.
Hall County Fire Rescue was called to the scene at 8:40 a.m. to find a single story home with smoke and flames showing. Crews were able to extinguish the flames from the interior of the home.
The two adult residents were not at home at the time of the fire. The American Red Cross was called to aid them.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
