Fourth suspect arrested in a Flowery Branch home invasion case

Law enforcement officials have arrested a fourth suspect in connection to a home invastion and domestic violence case out of Flowery Branch from mid-summer.

Police in Flowery Branch, with assistance from Hall County Sheriff's deputies, continued their investigation behind the July 2024 incident at a home on Lorimar Court to find 35-year old suspect, Giovanni Khiry Hartsfield. The Gainesville man was found hiding in a Gainesville apartment on Saturday, September 21 after investigators followed leads for their case. 

A release from Flowery Branch Police Department says on July 15th of this year, their officers responded to a distress call from a residence on Lorimar Court regarding an unauthorized home entry and a domestic dispute. The resident reported that several individuals entered the home, made threats of physical harm, and pointed a firearm at them before fleeing. Following the incident, investigators conducted their investigation, initially leading to the identification and charging of three original suspects. 38-year old  Zachary Chandler, 45-year old Tara Chandler, and Samuel Lopez, all from Flowery Branch. The three were originally arrested for charges including Home Invasion, Burglary, and Aggravated Assault.

Flowery Branch investigators say that further details will be withheld at this time, as the case remains open .
