GOP Vice Presidential Candidate J.D. Vance campaign in Northeast Georgia postponed

Senator  J.D. Vance's campaign stop in Flowery Branch has been postponed due to the Tropical Storm Helene making its way to the area. No make-up date has been released.

The political campagn for President of the United States is hitting full stride for both parties' respective candidates, with one candidate for Vice President planning a visit to Northeast Georgia this week.

Senator J.D. Vance, former president Donald Trump's vice presidential running mate in 2024, will be in Flowery Branch this Thursday, September 26.  The Trump for President 47 campaign made the announcement on Sunday that Vance is scheduled to make an appearance at the Get Out the Vote event within the Venue at Friendship Springs. The doors are scheduled to open at 2:00 p.m. with Vance scheduled to speak at 5:00 p.m.
