Braselton man faces additional charges behind alleged child molestation in Hall County

By Steve Winslow Anchor/Reporter

A 17-year-old Braselton man charged last month in a Hall County child molestation case now faces an additional charge of child sexual exploitation.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) says Martin Fuentes-Garcia was first arrested on Thursday, July 25 after their investigators determined he had molested a female victim, who was under the age of 16. A family member learned about the May 2024 incident, and reported it to authorities in June.

During the course of the investigation, investigators seized a cell phone from Fuentes-Garcia. Forensic processing of the phone allegedly turned up video evidence of the molestation. As a result, the suspect was booked at the Hall County Jail on a felony charge of sexual exploitation of a minor on Monday, August 19.

He is held in the Hall County jail without bond at this time.
