Authorities now say the Gainesville father and son arrested in March on allegations of molesting an underage girl are facing new charges related to two other girls who were also allegedly assaulted.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office announced the new charges Wednesday afternoon against Raymundo Castillo, age 60, and Edgar Jovanny Razo, age 30. The two were arrested on March 17 after authorities said they assaulted a girl under the age of 16 starting in 2014.

B.J. Williams with the sheriff's office said the new charges stem from additional victims who were identified in the case.

"The ongoing investigation determined that Mr. Castillo inappropriately touched a second juvenile female victim. The offenses related to this particular case with this second victim happened between October 2015 and October 2017," Williams said.

Williams said Razo also assaulted the second girl, who was reportedly related to the original victim. Williams added that a third victim was also identified.

"(Razo) performed lewd acts in the presence of this third child between May 2021 and August 2022," Williams said. "The third victim is an acquaintance of the other two victims."

Castillo was arrested on charges of sexual battery of a child on Sunday, May 4. He has since been released from the Hall County Jail on $4,600 bond.

Razo is being held in the jail without bond on multiple child molestation charges.
