Second earthquake in four days reported near Buford

The Buford area saw its second earthquake in four days early Monday morning according to the United State Geological Survey.

The USGS reported a 2.3 magnitude quake in an area near Misty Hill Lane off of Buford Dam Road at around 12:30 a.m. No damage has been reported in the area, and impacts were mainly reported in Buford and westward towards Cumming.

The quake was less than half a mile southwest of another 2.3 magnitude quake that hit the area late Friday night.
