A wreck near Buford in southern Hall County left one driver with non-life-threatening injuries on Saturday.

According to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP), they responded to the intersection of Friendship Road and Ridge Road at around 11 a.m. to investigate the crash.

They determined a Chevrolet Colorado driven by 49-year-old Jason Studdards of Braselton ran a red light and struck the driver side of a Lexus.

Studdards reportedly had two passengers with him, 42-year-old Alison Ray and 11-year-old Albury Ray, both of Fayetteville, Georgia.

The Lexus driven by 72-year-old Wanda Parker of Buford was traveling north on Ridge Road when Studdards reportedly ran the red light.

Parker was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries while the intersection was shut down for roughly 30 minutes.
