Main Street from West Academy Street to just past the Hall County Library in Gainesville will be closed on Wednesday, May 1 for construction.
The City of Gainesville said the road will be closed to thru traffic from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m.
The work was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was rescheduled due to rain.
Those driving in the area are urged to drive carefully and watch for construction workers, flaggers and equipment during the work.
