The Gainesville Police Department has asked for the public's help identifying a suspect in a recent entering auto case.
In a social media post, the agency said the suspect threw a brick through the window of a vehicle in the downtown area on March 26.
That suspect then stole a purse from the vehicle.
The suspect fled from the scene on what the agency described as a "very recognizable bicycle."
