The Gainesville Police Department made an arrest Monday after officers uncovered drugs and guns in a vehicle during a traffic stop.
A social media post Tuesday from the Gainesville Police Department said officers stopped the suspects after they allegedly ignored a school bus stop sign while the bus was picking up students.
Officers then allegedly uncovered 60 grams of methamphetamine, over 95 grams of marijuana, suspected psilocybin mushrooms, cocaine and other drug paraphernalia. Two handguns, including one that was reported to be stolen out of North Carolina, were also recovered, along with multiple bank cards and ID's not matching the suspects arrested.
The name of the suspect involved has not been released.
