The City of Gainesville’s Public Works Department has released its garbage collection schedule ahead of the holiday season.
According to a Facebook post from the city, Monday, Dec. 23 will be a normal garbage collection day, however, there will be no collection for Tuesday, Dec. 24, or Wednesday, Dec. 25.
Collection for Tuesday and Wednesday customers will instead take place on Thursday, Dec. 26. Collection for Thursday customers will be on Friday, Dec. 27.
