Jackson Electric Membership Corporation has begun accepting applications for the annual Washington Youth Tour scheduled for June 13 to 20.
Jackson EMC said the all-expense-paid experience in Washington, D.C. is a a premier leadership and educational opportunity for high school students.
High school sophomores and juniors in the Jackson EMC service area should apply by 5:00 p.m. on January 31.
Students can apply online here or be nominated by a teacher or guidance counselor.
Finalists will be interviewed on Feb. 17 with a panel of business, community and university leaders.
Four students will represent Jackson EMC in the leadership program, along with hundreds of students from across the country.
