The Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested a Toccoa man on Monday in connection to the Nov. 22 homicide of Angela Baker.
The GBI said in a press release that Corey Bryant, 36 was charged with malice murder in connection to the 42-year-old woman’s death after agents discovered evidence implicating him for her murder.
Baker and Bryant were known to each other and were previously involved in a relationship.
The Toccoa Police Department requested assistance from the GBI after Baker was found dead by family members in her home on East Franklin Street.
Authorities located Bryant on Friday shortly after Baker was discovered dead.
Bryant was arrested that same day for a fight which was a separate incident from the homicide.
