The Gainesville Police Department said a truck driver was injured Monday after a traffic crash near the intersection of Jesse Jewell Parkway at EE Butler Parkway.
Gainesville Police officials said the driver of a pickup truck appeared to have had a medical emergency, left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Traffic was diverted while crews cleared the roadway. Utility crews were in the area replacing poles after the crash.
The driver had minor injuries.
